15 April 2008, Almaty. – Kazkommertsbank announces that its financial portal, Homebank.kz, has registered its 10 millionth transaction.
Internet banking is among Kazkommertsbank’s fastest growing banking services. Customers use the service to pay bills, taxes, open and replenish accounts, transfer funds between accounts and to monitor transactions on their accounts.
Kazkommertsbank was among the first banks in 2000 to offer internet banking services to its clients. Today the number of registered users of Homebank.kz is more than 140,000. The Bank has led the dynamic development of this market segment by tripling the number of services offered over the past 2 years to 105.
In addition, 2008 statistics shows a monthly increase in the number of Homebank.kz users of above 5,000 customers, with increasing pressures on customer time leading to ever greater popularity of the service.
Kazkommertsbank
Founded in 1990, Kazkommertsbank is a highly innovative financial institution. It is the only bank in Kazakhstan issuing debit and credit cards based on all 3 largest international payment systems: Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
