Kazkommertsbank appoints new executive director

Kazkommertsbank has appointed Sergey Mokroussov as an executive director responsible for relationships with international financial institutions and investors. Mr. Mokroussov will also continue maintaining relationships with development institutions in Kazakhstan.
Sergey Mokroussov, 39, joined Kazkommertsbank in 2003 and has held senior positions in corporate banking, most recently as head of product development and prior to that as deputy director in project finance.
Prior to joining KKB he worked in various analytical and management roles in private equity and the metals and mining sector.
Sergey received his MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College (USA). He graduated with distinction from Pavlodar University (Kazakhstan) with a degree in economics and management.
Kazkommertsbank is one of the largest private banks in CIS region with total assets of USD24.9 billion according to the audited financial statement as of 1 January 2008. Kazkommertsbank was the first bank in Kazakhstan to successfully achieve a listing on the London Stock Exchange in November 2006, which more than doubled the capitalization of the bank. .
